    Did every 1972 302/C4 Maverick come with a 157 tooth flex plate.

    Yep AFAIK all used the small bell, case fill C4... Toward end of production in '77 Ford was introducing other transmissions but I dunno if any were ever used in our cars...

    Thanks for the info, saved me a 280 mile round trip to go count teeth. Flex plate is in one garage and motor is getting rebuilt in another. Thanks again.
