1971 maverick fuse box.?

    71 maverick,69 429 thunder jet T-Bird.
    could somebody help me find the fuse box for a 1971 maverick because the fuel meter isnt working so i believe a fuse blew out..

    The fuse block is way up under the dash, on the firewall, just to the left of the steering column. I doubt you have a blown fuse though. Pull the connection off the tank, take a paper clip or piece of wire, short the 2 wires together on the connection, and turn the key to the run position. The gauge should go to full. If it does, you have a bad sending unit. If it dont, most likely is the voltage regulator on the back of the gauge pod, or the gauge itself.
