On my 1970 Grabber it has a 3 spoke steering wheel in good shape. I know they are pretty rare. I was wondering about what it is worth

Is it a rimblow? If it works, and all is clean, unfaded, uncracked-I would guess $300-$500 for a Maverick. You could probably get more for the wheel without the specific Maverick pad on E-bay-assuming it is the same as a Mustang or Cougar etc. wheel.

Some guy on the Boss 302 site just advertised a New Old Stock-NOS '69 Rimblow wheel that he bought in 1980. Never installed. $3,500!

Mavericks used same pad/emblem as Torino and the emblem is not available repop. The pads and inserts are available ... they are same as Mustang also. Unless the wheel is really nice with no cracks it won't bring much money since the cost to restore one is about $400 just for the wheel ... not including the pad, emblem and new horn switch.

No ... I made it ... see link in my post ... The steering wheel is not correct for my 71 Grabber ... would have only been used in the original run of Maverick Grabbers and have the Ford Crest emblem ... which is now being reproduced ... but I think it is the nicest wheel Ford has ever made so I put it in there ... :)

Did early Gabbers have a 3 spoke wheel stock?

But that car has a column lock so it was not in the first production run, unless they consider the 69.5s a preproduction run.

First 3 months of 1970 Maverick Grabber production ... Grabber was introduced around March 1970 I believe ... 3-spoke rimblow was part of the original Grabber package ...

I passed on one in average condition in a junkyard once-'70 Grabber-Grabber Blue. Pad was warped, steering wheel was good. I went back for some more parts....crushed!

I should have gotten it then. The gas cap was even mint....but I couldn't get it off!
    I needed my strap wrench!
