I'm finally getting around to posting my pictures from the roundup. Check out my Flickr link below. Since my Comet made it's debut at the Roundup I have been to a car show almost every night. I have already put almost 1,000 miles on the Comet in just three weeks. In Michigan you gotta take advantage of the cruising months. I may have to scale back a bit though or the wife will divorce me. She'll probably say it's either her or the car The Comet has already won several awards although that wasn't my focus or intent for restoring the car. I just wanted to relive my childhood days and enjoy the heck out of cruising, the awards are just a nice benny. At the car show I went to today I even got interviewed by the Detroit Free Press since it was a non Mustang and a Mustang Memories Car Show. So I might be in the paper tomorrow according to the reporter. So enjoy the pics I think I captured every car that was at the Roundup on Saturday. Also make sure you check out the surprise appearance by Neil Diamond!! I included a couple of videos of his performance. http://www.flickr.com/photos/48544164@N07/sets/72157627380487992/
Great idea on the pix Mick. I thought I was doing some "KRUZING". I see I am no where close to the miles ur putting on. Ur right abt makin use of the riding season, B4 U know it we'll have the snow plows out.
Thanks for posting these Mick! Awesome! You deserve the recognition, after all the hard work you've put in. Craig: Pretty good singing man! You actually looked and sounded like the Diamond! Ha! If you can sing Diamond, you could probably pull off a good Tony Orlando and Dawn too!
Actually....I do some Tony Orlando and Dawn, as well as many other artists from the 70's. Yes I did. I could sure tell it was almost 100 degree's that day!!
After watching the videos all I can think of is the Gong Show, and I hope some one is swinging that mallet.
