Bought the Mav today...come to find out, it is a 71 Grabber, not a 73(nice small bumpers!) But stupid me, I FORGOT TO BRING MY CAMERA:slap: We are leaving it in the next town at friends for now, because eventhough it is a good starting point, we would have to go through it and fix a few things before we drive it the 70 miles back to our place...Still not sure if we are gonna fix it or part it...the hood is in good shape but missing the trim(but our friend has some to give us)...the steering wheel is not cracked(so Betty might get that...lol) The rest of the interior is PRETTY BAD!!! Its grabber blue with white stripes on the hood...It has been wrecked but only minor left fender damage(our friend is also giving us a new fender...good friend huh? oh and trim rings and all of his other left over Mav parts...)He usually picks up old Ford trucks and fixes them up..He said he is done with messing with Mavs, so...lucky me!:bouncy:

Well hey that's even better than gettin a 73! A grabber could be fun to restore.

Get the hood painted black and put it on "Betty". Definitely the steering wheel too...

Good score. We gotta see some photos. If it's a Nevada car then it should be pretty rust free.

Build it Dont Part it. Resto mod would be cool.

Yea, when we went to buy it, our friend said not to go in our Mav, because he was afraid the guy would figure that we really would want it and jack up the price...I am going back either Friday or Tues., not sure which just yet and I will get some pics...I already put the camera in my car...And there is very little rust on the car...only where the fender was wrecked...
