Are there any 2bbl carbs that will fit a 200ci to replace a 1bbl carb? If there are, do yall know of any adapters?

    Thanks,

    Jeff

I don't know if there is an adapters for a 200. There is for a 250. Changing from a 1 to a 2 brl carb. may decrease your performance of the enging. All the adapter does is plug up one whole. Your best bet is to leave a 1 brl on.

200 and 250s use the same head so the adapters will work on both .

Plugs what whole ? A 2 barrel adapter is larger at the carb base and smaller at the intake . Kinda like a funnel . What whole do you think it plugs ?

No , there isn`t any 2 barrel carbs that will bolt up to a 200 . You can get adaptors from a cuple places though . For a mostly stock engin you should prolly go with a small webber . The best way to put a 2 barrel on would be to have the top of the intake milled flat . Then drill the holes and bolt it right to the intake .

If you`r engin is stock right now you prolly should start with the exhaust . A header and 2 1/4 inch single exhaust system will give you a nice power gain and more MPG too boot !

What year is your 200 ? if it don`t have the DS I or DSII ignition system it would a great idea to put on in it .
