1/4 window latch question

Is there a cover there supposed to be a cover that covers the bolts where the latch bolts to the body if so does anyone have two of them availble?

 

yup, there's a paper like cover over them

that shows how thin they are. i thought they was paper

 

yeah mine are gone too but i am going to make mine out of some thin stainless i still have one to use for a pattern. there not held in to good. if you want pm me your address and i can make you a pattern to and mail it to you.

stainless would look cool, im going to do that.

 

The parts catalog lists them as either metal or plastic. My car has one original metal one and one replacement plastic one. LMK if you need some part numbers.
