I didn't get much done on the Comet this weekend..... I did pull the tailshaft housing off the trans so I will be able to correct the speedo...

Well, I decided to change the oil last weekend and when I did I found a bunch of very fine metallic in it..... I cut the filter and it was packed...

I also took it out last night to a no prep street car deal..... I had trouble getting it to hook early but it was running hard from about 150'...
Got the car all back together and ready to go last weekend, and the rain held off on Wednesday..... So off to the local 1/8 mile track I went........
Thanks Chip, My biggest issue with this project is it turned into a lot more then it started out as..... Plus this is my first venture into fuel...
I rearranged fuel lines this morning so that the ethanol sensor is now after the driver side fuel rail and before the regulator in the pressure...
I tried another ethanol sensor and it was still screwing up..... So I pulled the wiring out of the harness where I put the resistor for the sensor...
I did get the plumbing done under the hood Sunday and it runs again..... I drove it around a little and made a short test hit, looks like plenty...
Everything is back together in the back end of the car now..... Need to get all the fuel lines maid tomorrow and it should run again..... Let's...
