The 73 and up fenders are different where the bumper filler panel mounts. As far as fiberglass bumpers go, I would only run them in a "race only"...
I have a 71 mav rearend as well as a Granada rear they may work on. If not I will have to get the 91-95 ones.

It should go underneath the brace. The nut clips onto the valence and the bolt runs down into it.

The Mustang rear should bolt right in. I think the early tie-rod shafts are smaller but not a big deal IMO. Someone else may chime in with more info.
And/or alignment issues. If they are in the same condition I'd go for the early one.

Yes, the fenders need to be removed. I do have a used set if anyone needs them.
