Ya on the late model timing chain covers they still cast in the boss for the dipstick tube I'm doing it on my 89 just got a chrome tube from jegs...

Everything is suppose to be balanced now it just took him a lot of work and weights.
The only thing new where the pistons and flex plate the flex plate was to get the 50oz imbalance on a 157 tooth flex plate for the late model 5.0...
I was just wondering because the machine shop that did mine had one heck of a time balancing mine.

I had the same thing happen to me on CL you just have to use your best judgment I fallowed one all the way to get the check then cut them off...
I'd go for it, If I made it past the first jump that dog would have really messed me up.
