Not sure about backspacing but if your car is 5 lug it should be 114.3 lug spacing on the rims for them to fit.

You can pump the gas all you want to but if there isnt fuel in the bowl it wont do jack... lol
Stop reving to 6k. Your car doesnt seem to like it much.
Carb heats up an evaporates fuel in bowl. Bowl must refill so takes a bit to get it started. Problem solved. :2thumbs: I promise.
Maybe do a compression test. Might have some bad valves or something...
