You will want the ignitor, but I don't know which P/N you need. Contact them with your engine info and they will get the correct one out to you....

Points are inside the distributor. They are set with a feeler guage for a proper gap when open. A dwell meter tests the open adjustment...

The points get out of adjustment due to wear. This can happen in a few weeks. Replace the points with a Pertronix unit and eliminate that...
