I need exhaust for my budget build maverick.

What are the best budget friendly headers and exhaust kits?
Could I use exhaust from a early mustang?
I have a few hundred to spend but I would like to keep it cheap.

    Thanks guys

Years ago I ran a cheap JC Whitney early Mustang exhaust kit on mine. The only problem I had was the angle of one of the tail pipes wasn't quite right. Nothing a cut and weld couldn't fix. Or just buy some straight and mandrel bent tubing and weld up your own.

too bad you wheren't closer to me, I would give you a great deal on complete custom exhaust system for your car! here is the posting on CL

I have gone with a complete Stainless Steel set up, Hooker Comp SS headers, 2 1/4" pipe, Flowmasters, Clamps, Hangers, everything SS, it will outlast my car and me for that matter!
