Hi Guys, I'm looking for a rear window defroster for my 71 Mav. As you guys know i'm sure that stupid back window gets all steamed up with any cold outside! So i need to get one quick! I'm not sure if you can just get any generic size to fit it at AutoZone or somewhere or do you have to order it special??

    Thanks, Jakob

Not trying to overstate the obvious, but you do know that these came optional in these cars from the factory, right? Somewhat rare, but they are out there.

I would post a wanted ad ... someone here is bound to have one. Probably more common in northern cars.

I have a stock unit I picked up for my 70 and is just a simple defogger with a fan - no heater hoses connected to it - did we even have a rear defroster for our cars?
