Was messing with it right now and at the clutch fork and it seeems to move around easily? Also noticing that there is only on nut on the cable to the fork on the outside but not the inside of it. Will that cause a problem too?

it should move around a little bit when the pedal is not being pushed on.
the one nut could cause a problem. it needs two nuts to jam together. they will both be on the back side of the fork. the one that touches the fork should have a round end where it touches the fork. then their should be a second nut that jams against that nut to keep it from turning.

wanted to bump this back up again cause im having more problems now...anybody know what it means when you hear a grinding noise in neutral but when I press the clutch pedal in it goes away? its starting to feel really hard to put into gear now and I adjusted the cable a lil bit but it still feels the same...as if I have to force it into gear

Could be that the pilot bushing is worn out.

The bushing is in the end of the crankshaft so you have to remove the bell housing. I would go with a pilot bearing instead of a bushing. They should be available from most performance parts suppliers.

With what you described it's not the pilot bearing, with the clutch engaged it is not spinning. Sounds more like the bearing from the main shaft to the input shaft or the input shaft bearing. That would also be suspect in regards to the grinding. Seems like someone might have taken some short cuts rebuilding the trans.

Another option would be to go back to where you bought the trans from. It is possible that they are a great shop and it's just a failed part rather than a half assed rebuild. Give them a shot at making it right.
