The only way you`re probably gonna hook on the street is w/ some cheetah slicks,2 little grooves in them, barely legal.

    I'll ask again...

    1) What are you talking about?

    2) What purpose did this supposedly serve?

Please be a little more specific...because as worded, your original post is a little..umm..let's go with confusing at this point. I'll withhold judgement until you clarify a little. Perhaps there is just a miscommunication.

I can tell you right now that combo would absolutely LOVE more plenum volume. Slip in as much spacer as you can into that mix. Never EVER seen a larger motor with a decent sized street cam like yours that didn't respond to it.

Plus.. with that stall and gear.. your borderline to needing a single plane anyways.

This mod can extend that manifolds rpm range by at least 200-300rpm without one bit of loss down low. Even more rpm range extension is possible if the rest of the manifold is ported and matched to the heads. I have some pic's of a SBF manifold somewhere.. but this one is easily found and is nearly identical anyways. This is a 2 inch 4 hole spacer cut down to 1.5 inches and whittled into a merge style. The divider is also slightly V'd in the center to allow better bank to bank sharing(more even fuel distribution) without much loss in idle vacuum.

I was just making a comment that I finally got a car to hook and it pulled wheels off the ground and really surprise me .I wasn't expected to do that and I was just u what my experience was.

Any chance that motor has been "plum built"?
