Welcome all new members, im real new too. All these people are sharp on the maverick,
very kind and helpful. They make being a maverick owner more fun.
I have a 76 maverick stallion that was my first car, and wanting to rebuild it.
These guys and gals have got the answers. I would like to know if a should keep the engine 302 stock or build it run? and will it hurt the value if a do build it to run?

Since Mavericks are not the collectibles that they should be, Id say build it however you want it. Stock Mavericks just dont bring the bucks in. Modified ones do better in my opinion.
