I think that a few pics showing a larger view of the interior would help us see how the color combo looks together.

With just the narrow picture, it looks good so far! (y)

I've seen this combination before and if it is done right, it will look really nice!

How abt the "bench seat redone which is ginger", mentioned in the first post? If I were seeking opinions, I wud not be ultra-conservative in postiing pictures if I have the means to do so. It's kind of like asking for opinions "on my wheels and showing only the valve stem.

I think the picture shows enough, it's not hard to get the idea. My project car has a Ginger interior...but I'm going to swap it over to all Black. I think, Ginger door panels would look better, but the rest is fine. My 74 with the Orange interior, had a Black carpet, and a Black dash pad from the factory.

i agree about the ginger door panels looking better, the problem is my left door panels was shot but the right is perfect. now i had ran across ginger panels but its always the passenger side:mad:...

You got that right - I rented a car in Orlando once that had an all black interior - burnt the inside of my right wrist reaching through the steering wheel to start the car and get the air up and running

It's no different here, Black interiors get pretty hot. I have childhood scars from the seats in our 68 Buick...

Not sure how hiding Ginger turned into the temperature in PA. :hmmm: I'm thinking more like the only good looking ginger was on Gilligan's Isle.

You'll get use to it, everything gets way off topic.

    LOL...

I don't care where you live, a closed up car with dark interior will get nasty hot inside(especially if it's vinyl)... Red, dark green, blue, brown etc are probably at least 95% as hot as black... If you want coolest, that would be white, parchment, lt grey etc(colors used in most of today's vehicles)...

BTW I have three toys and guess what??? All have black interior and I don't want them any other color...

Agreed...it's Mary Ann (but Jenny was hot looking too!). I have a mostly black interior with no A/C, it is not too bad in the summer as long as I'm rolling. It does get toasty inside sitting still. I am gathering the parts for an A/C swap.
