Hello, to everyone, I have a 76 stallion, black & silver, and was my first car and very proud that i still have it. It has never been repainted yet, but planning too soon. I have been trying to find out about the stripes and decals? From what i can see so far we have to make or paint our own? I would be pleased if anyone could help? Thank You All.
The fender decals are reproduced by Osborn Reproductions. The rest of the paint job is easily reproduced with masking tape and paint. http://www.osborn-reproduction.com/
Cool, the stallion horse emblems are available aftermarket. Where I dont know, someone here will come to my rescue on that. As far as painting a car, if you are lucky enuff to be anyplace close to PA, Jean Doll is the person to talk to. I am sure she will pop in here and let us know exactly where to get the emblems and if you dont have anyone in mind to paint your Stallion, she has the credentials. Dan
Thanks to all for the info!!!!! I feeling better about this all the time. It is so nice to talk with some people who know things. Thanks Again..
You definately should consider attending : 2005 Round-up Nationals. Owensboro, Ky. July 27-31 2005 There will probably be around 60 Mavericks and Comets there and all the fun and camaraderie you can handle. Also look into joining the club. http://www.maverickcometclub.org/
Hey Dan. Are you saying that you wouldn't want the pleasure of taping off another Stallion? But it's SO much fun. Funny. I didn't have grey hair before I taped ours. Yes, the Stallion fender decals are reproduced, but the rest of the stripes have to be done the old fashion way....lots and lots of tape and just as much patience.
Yes, Jean,,, I dont know if I have the patience to tape one off. Maybe if I did it in installments, like a year to complete lol for some reason I have masking a car off has gotten to be a chore. I must be getting old Dan
