Does anyone in here? Could anyone here do this, or?? Im willing to pay... its the part covered in red..
That is usually part of a roll cage although it can be attached to the firewall/cowl area with reinforcement......
Thats what I'd like to do. Im going to do a bar from driver to pas under the dash to tie it in, and want to run that bar to the front frame rail. So I can use that as a mounting point for the fenders.
I plan on going caged wayyyyy down the road. However, until then I want to get the front end built (caged?) so that I can figure out my clearances. Mock the motor, trans, do the rear end, etc.
You can install the front suspension and mock up engine trans before "caging" the frame rails, just don't drive it that way. Bracing the front before the roll cage is in just creates more work when you do put a cage in it. Why do you want to wait to install a roll cage?
I want to get the front done how I want everything to lay out then I can cage the interior... I want things done a particular way. Interior will be the last thing I do. I have to build the dash, center console, etc. Want to do the front end, get everything lined up, finish the body work, the gaps, get the engine, trans, front end completed in mock up, do the rear then do the interior and tie everything together. When I get back I am going to cut the trunk floor out and start building back half kinda...
