Hi I am having some issues with my aod trans i picked up from monster transmission. It shifts from 1 to 2 way to quickly and the rest quick as well.. we have set the pressure to where its suppose to be but still having the issue. is there anything else we can do.. Also is there any transmission places in MI(preferable in lasing or surrounding area) that any one would recommend? thanks for any help.

What's the pressure set at? What cable are you using to control the TV pressure?

What's the pressure, when warm in neutral? Does the TV lever on the transmission have 2 holes in it? You may also find, that the TV lever doesn't return fully, I had to install a light spring on mine.

The newer ones have two, just checking to see what one you had. In neutal, and warm you should have 0-6 psi.

Did you try lowering the pressure in drive? Say 25? Did you just buy it from them? Depending on what shift kit it has, and what governer it has, and your tire size, it could be a couple of things.
My first AOD would shift quickly, and that was due to it having the wrong governer, since the transmission came from a van, with a larger diameter tires, the transmission thought it was going faster than it really was.

How you you have the TV cable mounted? Below the transmission to the pan? The place that built mine, said to never mount it in that position.

Off subject, what engine are you running? I picked up a 250 and plan on putting in an AOD. Did you have to do any mods to make it fit?

Last question? Did you have to mod the firewall? I've got a buddy with a milling machine and lathe, so any mounts or little stuff is not a big deal.
    Thanks
