Where can I get some front coil spring that will drop 2" for a 1970 maverick with a 302 engine.

    Cut the ones you have.

    1-1/2 coils should produce a 2-inch drop.

I used aftermarket 60s 550 lb Mustang springs on my 73. They provide a stiffer ride than cut Maverick springs.

I used 6 cyl . springs in my v8 mav and I cut 1/2 coil then let it settle to where it is now . Don't cut to much at one time. Cut let it settle then repeat it necessary.

Chassis people don`t recommend cutting more than 1 round out of a spring,I`d get 2in drop spindles.
