    Hello Everyone,

I have water leaking into the trunk and it seem to be coming in from around the rear window on the drivers side. Whenever it rains or if we pour water around the molding mid-way up the glass water gets into the trunk thru a bracket behind the hinge.

We took the molding off and filled the area between the window seal and body with black glazing caulk. But it is still leaking in.

Any other ideas of what to look for or what to try.

    Thanks!

chances are the window channel has rusted out. the rear window needs to be removed and the channel inspected. if its got rusted out sections, they need to be repaired. if the channel is good then you just need a new rear window gasket.

For additional information. The water is coming into the trunk form the top forward part of the bracket that has the bolts. What is this bracket for?

Those bolts hold in the trim panel located at the sides of your rear package tray...right next the headliner.

I agree with Bryant....sounds like you need a new gasket.
