I took off the gas tank

    man that thing is filthy!

i tried to start it today and no gas at all.

i was replacing three gas filters every couple of weeks, it was overdue!

now i have a very dirty tank in my garage and no idea what to do with it.

Bolted acc back on after modifications to timing cover. New dip stick placement. New oil pan and pick up tube all that work that will never be seen lol. Going to try and start on the lower quarter panel this morning before work. My old boss caught me at the parts store and made me an offer I couldn't refuse.

Thank you, I also took into consideration if another member ever wanted to use it, I could mail it to em for a fraction of what the metal cost, and it'd be a bolt on application :) Although it sits about 3 feet or so off the ground. It'd be nice for someone doing something similar to what I'm doing *shrug*

did some more sanding, got it masked for second color, just got to do some more sanding before I paint.... got a letter from the HOA saying I can't paint/work on vehicles in the driveway... I have till the 9th to get it looking like I'm not working on it... my carpet came in today also, finally ordered one from varkmotors took only 3 days to get it.

HOA's I don't get it I pay them and they barely do their proper job but they always bug me when any little thing is out of line... I'm making it look better, figured they would appreciate a better looking car in the driveway of their subdivision...

When I had my GTO on one I built it 2' and wished it was higher. I plan on going taller with the Maverick so the lower is easier to get at.

Same with ours but we decided to get involved with the board, the tend to ease up on you if they know you!(y)

the HOA is like code enforcement for the non HOA areas they respond to complaints and usually never come around if things are halfway clean.
talk to your neighbors one of them is complaining just listen to what they say when you tell them someone is complaining theyll slip up and tell on themselves. then you know who to avoid from now on. (or threaten)
if you have until the 5th that should be time to finish what youre doing anyway so up theirs :rofl2:

I did some more sanding to engine bay, then I primed it just to see where I am at with it, still have a lot more sanding to do but not as bad as i thought it would be, I may have the engine bay in paint next weekend or should be close to it
