    I have a1973 maverick (possibly a grabber) not really sure. I'm started doing a motor swap from a 302 to a LS1 6.0 with a 4l80e transmission. It has really become a major over haul lol. Didn't have enough room to run exhaust so I'm putting a rod and custom coil over front end under it. Wish me luck!

    I've got the same setup Frank has under his...

    Yes, not counting the mods to the steering column and inner fenders, it took 15 hours from start to finish to get it back to a roller. BTW, you're less than 60 miles from me...

    Sounds fun! To ID your possible Grabber, look for 93 in the 3rd and 4th VIN positions.

    A Chevy engine in a Maverick is an abomination.

    As previously mentioned, the VIN will tell you if it's a Grabber or not.
