I'm more interested in the way they attach to the rear SF....the front SF is easy. The rear has the holes for the leaf spring bolts to go through...

sorry I do not have anymore pics.....the car is in Mizzo now, maybe Ward can coax his brother or stepdad into taking some pics so we can post them. If memory serves, its welded right at the end of the rear sub-frame.....my opinion and if I would have kept this car I would have elded a tab about 1/2 way across the connector(from fron to back) and created another point of contact with the car to reinforce it even more. Rudy did this with his connectors, just to make it a little more rigid.
Strokermotor....these connectors was on the car when I got it.....long story that I would enjoy talking with you about one day over coffee or beer.....depending on what time of the day it is, but my ole heap is tied together a little different.:D

I believe that was a low 11 second pass around 115-120 mph. The car ran a 10.57@126 on the pass prior to the big break

so what happened during the big break? too much traction and not strong enough rear end?...looks like the shock mounts broke and the links broke off...

what was wrong so that we may avoid that ??

well it depends on who you ask

but the bottom line is that the welds were bad on it and they started to fatigue and then eventually broke. It was really uneventful in the car, did not feel like the rear end went that high in the air
