I had a woman email me that her father passed away and she needed to sell his car. So for $500 I'm getting an awesome four door 76' Comet. She couldn't really tell me much about the car and I've been waitin about a week for her to send the title to a guy who's dealing with her father's estate. Sunday my dad and I made a trip to St.Pete to see the car. It's in great shape. A little bondo around the lip of the hood but other than that barely any rust. It's an LDO, brown with a white top. Pretty sure it was at one time a vinyl top, but its painted now. Looks like it just had a paint job in the past year or so. A neighbor told me that the interior was redone back in January. From what the daughter could tell me, it also had about $2000 in mechanical work done in January. Neighbor said it was a daily driver and runs great. The guy with the keys couldn't meet us so I wasn't able to start it up. It sounds though like the owner was fixin it up nice before he passed away. As soon as I get it home I'll take some pics and put em up here. Not too bad for the price though, huh?

lol, silly boys. I'm almost 19 :p Too funny you guys can't get your wive's to like the cars and my boyfriend ignores me when I talk about them. I got so excited when my parents said they'd buy me the car and my boyfriend was like "yea that's nice." I'm going sunday to pick the car up. I just got me a new camera phone so I'll be able to take lots of pics and have them up here sunday night :-D I'm not gonna call it a kingdom till I got one of each year, but I'm gettin there only need four more lol

Watch it, you will be like Hawkco and DAB. They have the corner on the Mav market. Hope you enjoy it.

I'm not lucky enough to run across a good find. Congrats. Now, I know one of those Fords is road worthy. See you at Silver Springs in January, right?
