Did a search, expecting lots of posts about this, didn't find anything significant.

Here are the seats, and how do I get them off?

What seats are these? maybe if I search for the type of seat, I will get better results.

Almost time to install new seats on them.

There are 2 bolts holding the tracks to the seats. Just remove the bolts and there ya go. (Hint) Mark the tracks as to where they go so there is no confusion as to placement.

The bolts are at the end of each track. 4 per seat. Don't forget to unhook the springs. You may have to slide it forward to get to the rear bolt and slide it back to get to the front bolt. They look like mustang seats maybe? I'm no expert so that's just a guess.

Pretty sure they are maverick seats (or at least maverick seat TRACKS). They actually FIT without needing any adjustments, shims, or anything.

I don't think anything else ever fits without modification.

That's good! It looks like they were red and someone painted them black. What is that marking on the seat backs, some kind of emblem?

Not sure...never really looked at them. I put cheap seat covers on them, installed them, been riding on them ever since. But my wife admitted last week that they are uncomfortable and that is part of the reason she does not like riding in the car. I agreed, and figured it was about time to put decent seats in.

these are even worse, because there is very little foam left, especially on the bottom. Springs are exposed in many places.

That's why I'm really thinking about using my LDO buckets in the Maverick. They feel like a Lazyboy.

Those are early Grabber seats. Mustangs of that era used three different upholstery patterns but the same frames. That upholstery pattern is definitely Maverick.

I got them out of an early mav but had no idea if they were stock or not.

I really got them cheap, like $30 for the pair, and bought them just for the mounting brackets.

I once attempted to fab up my own brackets for a set of nice Honda Accord seats but never could get them to sit straight and even and gave up on them.
