Wow, I guess I've never seen one with an original boot! Are they available? Never mind, I just read that thread and I think I'll b e going with an aftermarket boot like from Hurst. Original is too rich for my blood!
I wonder why Ford would spent money tooling up such an ugly thing, when they already had normal-looking Mustang and Torino boots and bezels?
There's lots of parts they could have borrowed from Ford to use on the Maverick .. but they didn't. Basically everything manual transmission related is Maverick only.
