Has anyone made a detailed posting about how to swap a 72 comets front end to a mavericks. Mainly I just want that nice crisp line across the hood to the fenders.

Does everything just mount into place nothing needing to be fabricated? Fenders can stay? Bumpers can stay?

Maverick & Comet fenders are the same (other than the emblem), the hoods and grills are different, and depending on the year, the bumper may be different, or just in a different position.

Latch plate is the same Comet to Maverick, and in the same spot. There is a plastic grill extension on the comet.

We all knew they were good for parts, Gene, but we never needed the grill and the hood until now :rofl2:
