Alright so I picked these two buckets up from a member locally and I was told they are from a 74 4door comet. Now im pretty sure the seat on the left is the driver in the picture and I might not have the brackets in the right place. How come the seat on the right has one side thats different. None of the rails will bolt up to it because the hole are also farther apart. Is there a part I need off of my bench in my current 72 or what? If anyone could help me install these it would be very appreciated.

Yes is looks like the drivers seat is on the left in the picture. The track with the adjuster lever should be on the left on both seats when you install them. It's difficult to tell form the pics but the inner tracks on each side should have spacers under them. Without the spacers you cannot mount the seats in the car. Are the studs that go through the floor longer on some of the tracks? Thay could be LDO seats and brackets but I'm not familiar with those. I know what the standard bucket seat tracks look like but I don't have a set, I built mine from two sets of bench seat tracks. I'm not really sure why the tracks won't bolt up to the seats. Maybe someone else will have a clue for ya.

On the bottoms of all of the rails, there are studs that go into the floor.

yes, are some studs longer than the others? I think the studs on the inboard tracks should be longer than the ones on the outer tracks. But again, I'm not familiar with LDO seat tracks.

I think the best thing is to wait for someone with more experience with the LDO seats to reply.

It just feels like on the seat on the right, so the passenger seat, on the right side(if your sitting in the seat its the left side) theres not a rail coming down like on the other side or both sides on the other seat, its flat.. which makes the holes further away. Is there a hump in the ground or something weird? Or is part of the seat missing? those bars are welded on and there isnt any weld marks like it got ground off.

That one seat with the hump may have came from a 75 or later car with a cat converter "hump" in the floor. They take a different track on the passenger side because of this. Maybe Craig Selvey or somebody else will verify this for you. I've never saw one in person, all I've ever dealt with is the pre cat seats.

Yeah, LDO tracks. You are missing the spacer,s as you will need those.

Hard to tell from the pictures if they are cat hump bucket seats or not.
