saddle pads and coil spring insulators

    You know, When I ordered my kit I asked PST about that part. I didn't know what it was called. They said, they didn't have them for a 77 Comet. I look in their catalog & they have them for a 77 Maverick. Are they the same? Hold up! PST price is $39 each for the Maverick. Will the Mustang fit my Comet? Because JC Pony is half the price.

    They are all the same, Mavericks, Comets, and Mustangs.

    by the way, mavaholic was the same parts-number-getter for me,(y) I would have posted the numbers but I forgot where I put my catalog and couldn't remember the mustang year to look up on the web site ...... anyhoo, have fun with those springs!!!!!!!:smash: :smash: :smash:

    hi guys i'm new here and to the mavrick seen. my car squeak alot will the spring perches stop this and how hard are they to put on. not trying to jack the thread. thanks mavrick ss

    Most of the squeaking your hearing is probably from the upper control arm bushings. A very common problem.

    Spring perches are not hard to put in, you just need to have a spring compresser. But like Mavaholic said, spring perches might not be the problem. You should check all your bushings to see witch looks bad. It could be a headache to change one thing & find out that's not the problem. That wil cause you to keep taking things apart.
