I was getting ready to order this american pony rebuild kit, when I realized I don't know if I need the saddle pads and coil spring spring insulators. Do I need to get that kit that includes these? here's the link
Wasn't sure if it was actually something that would cross over from the mustang, but I'll get the $307.90 kit that contains them, thanks.
I just bought an entire front end kit for $272.45 shipped. Comes with a 5 year warranty too. Just an FYI. Got it off ebay from this guy. Heres another one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=34200&item=4505172742&rd=1 AC
stockhatch: thanks for the heads up, I think I'm going to go with American Pony strictly because it has Midolyne bushings which are almost as soft as rubber, but last almost as long as poly.
gee, all I did to the front of mine was put in the spring perches and insulators ....... is there more???? ....Robert stopped the squeak though
I got my kit & sprinhs from PST but it did not come with the kit. I got some from Energy Suspension. What is a spring perch? I didn't see that on my car.
The spring perch is the piece bolted to the upper control arm that the SPRING PERCHes on hehe Your front shocks bolt to them too. Trust me, you have them. AC
Not meaning to 'hi-jack"... But does anyone have a part number and price just for a set of insulators ? Will a set for a 1969/70 Mustang work?
alert the moderator .... please divert all new ?? to a new thread j/k ....... I think I paid $2 each for mine from cj pony parts ..... Robert
Thanks AC, I didn't know what that was called. I need to order some. I changw everything but that. I guess I can say i'm learning.
