Not getting my hopes too much, by I found a Mustang that was owned by an elderly couple and has 56,000 miles. Interior is good and overall body good but of course it has the typical wheelwell rust. If I can make a deal, it will need quarter repairs and I'll probably throw a Maverick 8" in it and convert the frt to 5 lug.

I guess I need to look for the same things as you would a Maverick like rust in the torque box area and cowl leaks. It's a 200 with an auto.

This will be the replacement for my motorcycle....tried of feeling like everytime I ride I'm gonna get run over by a texting teen.

Yea the 65 fastback would have been the best looking Rustang ever built if the rear deck wasnt like 8 inches too long. Just my opinion of course. Still a sexy car.

    Good luck on the 66.

Of all things I bought that car from a stripper. It was a professionally restored stocker (289 2v auto) and her boyfriend keyed it and cut the seat covers. She was heading out of town and I got it cheap. Sold it high. The car is still around and is a gem. This is it on ebay a while back
