Do any think that the CompCam XE268 sounds better than this. This cam sounds very well. I did not think it would sound like that.

More factors than just cam grind determine how an engine will sound. The same cam can sound completely diferent in different engines. Engine displacement, compression, combustion chamber design, intake and exhaust port size, rich or lean fuel mixture, size/type of mufflers, ignition timing, cam timing. I'm sure there's some I missed.

Bmc, I know there are more factors to sound than a simple cam swap. But a stock cam isnt gonna sound anywhere near as cool as if i were to put a different cam in the same engine. I am in the market to get a cam. I just wanted to know which one would be the best cam for my relatively stock engine that would give a cool sound. I have the headers. I would like to see flow 40s for xmas. i just basically wanted to know which cam would be best with a cool sound to go along with performance.

    -TODD:)
