I need help I have a 1971 Ford Maverick Just bought some Magnum 500 rims & can't remember for the life of me what the center caps looked like from the factory. Were they Red with the Ford Cresent or did they have the Maverick Logo?

    Thanks

They were red with a silver Ford crest.

If there is 1.75" of flat space on your Magnum center caps you might consider Maverick decals from Craig.

Mavericks never had Magnums from the factory.

Which is basically the same thing. They were 14"x6".

    Basically: Yes, the same

Technically: They are different. Magnum 500 wheels were chrome. Styled Steel Wheels are painted...no chrome....and had beauty rings.

If you plan to buy a set of these DO NOT buy them from Specialty Wheels. I just bought a set from them. They charged me 46 bucks each. Wheel Vintiques sells them for 26 bucks each. Both sets are plastic also. I have seen some metal repops on Ebay for 160/4 also.

Exactly, they aren't called Magnums. (y) Ford didn't call them magnums in any sales literature.
