Rudy--If you go to your local Napa or autozone, they actually sell vinal dash repair kits. The kit includes the filler, colors to mix, and texture strips. You use the filler, mix the colors to what you need, and then use your cigarette lighter to heat their tool, while applying the texture strip--and supposedly it comes out near perfect. I bought the kit, but never followed through. I bet it would work good though with some patience and a steady hand. The kit only costs $10 bucks or so.
dash repair Check out CAMEO club on the internet from Deltona, FL. Chip Crenshaw has dash repair covers for sale. Also, my upholsterer removed my old dash and covered it with the original vinyl material. It looks great. My Merc1 buddy was amazed! Either way, I wish you the best.

Its probably the same piece that JC Whitney sells. I'd check price before I buy. Usually you can get it elsewhere, cheaper.
dashes... Try this.... www.dashcaps.com $79.50 plus shipping and they can dye them for you but I do not know if there is a charge for that. Seth
