in our case you can just draw numbers to see where you fit in the ladder. usually out here we don't ladder until were down to 16 cars. then it goes by the previous rounds rt. you can just run the class out until your down to say 8 cars then ladder. or put names in a hat at that point and pull them out 2 at a time. no matter how you do it, it will be fun. hope i can make it. :)

    Yes!

John I will be there with the car and I want to race! I think this would be a great addition to the round up.

    Sounds great.
I am still working out some of the details and what-not with the track as far as how to handle the buy-backs and liability issue with holding a "race". but it will happen!
It will be a amazing thing to see.....everyone must bring there video/still cameras to record this first ever/once in a life time event!

Usually you sign a waiver of liability upon entry to the track and another when you fill out your info card...they make sure they cover their butt, which they should..I got no problem taking responsibility for myself and my car.

Im bringing an extra memory card so I can get as much action as possible:)

VP racing fuel is available at the track. I'll check and see if I have any pics of the track that I can post later. Looking forward to seeing everyone again. This is a small track with really friendly workers. It will be a good time.

As for getting in Friday, the track runs a test & tune and grudge racing every Friday night! If folks don't want to partake in the other activities, they could always hit the track again! It should be a good time to be had by all.

Owensboro is a very motorsports oriented town. The Waltrips of NASCAR are from there, as are the Greens and Jeremy Mayfield. Dester Cambron, who made a brief showing in NHRA Pro Stock a few years ago is also from there. I think you guys will be happy with the selection. Gearheads should feel right at home.

    Later,

Thanks Tom....they have a few pics on their website along with a little history of the track.
