    ford collumn key repair

Wow! what a hassle... Got the key made ($38) finally got it all back together,(6 hours) multiple attempts.. sat & thought for a few minutes.... did i miss anything? then I saw the column retaining bolts sitting on seat next to me:hmmm: pissmeoffbigtime!! took apart again, got it all together again,(2 more hrs) missed shifting linkage spline by 1 notch... park is actually reverse. mofo...king...sob! still that way, can't kill no mo time for now. Fix Or Repair Daily.... my bad. please kill me.... I'll get over it... now I know why my friend said just change the steering column.....Doh. I did find a drivers side remote controlled sport mirror at the early ford swapmeet (Spokane) for $2. I still have to put it door locks (new key) the 3 items should burn up another day!! That's about all the good news I can stand to share for now...Thanks all!
I'd still rather drive a Ford than push a chevy....:rofl2:
