    hi everyone. i just bought a 74 Maverick about 3 months ago. fond it on Craigslist in Dinwiddie Va. for 500 from the original owner. it has a 250ci with a C4 auto. he told me the car was running when parked but the transmission was removed when i got the car. he said it was bad but gave no further info. when i opend the trans up i found that i never had a fluid change. the factory FOD plug was still in the pan.
