Welcome ... but as being a been there done that Maverick owner ... Do a reality check on the size and extent of your project ... I have no idea what condition your car is in but sometimes its better to just part it out and find a more solid starting point .... Dan

I'm in Porter, Texas about 40 miles from Houston. The car is in pretty good condition except for the dent in the roof, dash top is cracked and the missing grille. It has some rust and needs new carpeting but the seats are still good. I always enjoy a challenge anyway. I am glad that the 7' snake that shed it's skin in it was gone when I went to get it.:slap:

    Thats funny.
There is a lot of Texas folk on this board.........Seems to be one of the more populated mav/com states. And DAB has atleast 100 mavericks and comets.

Pretty bad but my best friends husband is a paint and body man for 30 years so once he takes a look I'll be able to decide exactly what I have to do...start with another body........or just a chasis....I'm ready to start work on the engine soon...All new belts etc...will post pics as soon as I figure out this scanner....
