swaybars for 70 mav

    hey guys, i'm looking to put swaybars on my son's 70 maverick...can anyone give me some info on what would fit??? granada?? mustang??? what will fit!!!

    71 Grabber
    front and rear sway bars are available for the maverick, or you can fab brackets and use a front bar on the back, the width is perfect. I know PST carries them, and you can get ADDCO sway bars through summit racing.

    thanks matt, i was hoping i could find a used one so i wouldn't have to spend a couple hundred dollars

    It does have the stock front bar on it at least right? Would have some pretty bad roll in the corners otherwise... :)

    '70 Maverick Grabber
    On my '70 I used a larger diameter front bar from a '72 w/V8. In the rear I got an Addco from J.C. Whitney pretty cheap.

    no matt, it doesn't have a swaybar on the front.....that really explains why it wants to float at 90 to 100mph

    thanks bm, i really have to get one on this car....it just doesn't handle like it should
