new guy/ door panels

    64 Comet 404 wagon
    Hi kids, new to Fords but have been into Buick Skylark 1970 and MGB 1977.

    About to get into a 1964 Comet wagon 404. My first question is door panels.. are wagons the same as 4 doors regarding the door panels?

    I know some of the members here have first generation Comets but the board mainly concentrates on the Maverick 1970-1977 and it's matching cousin the Comet 1971-1977 :tiphat:

    '64 Comet would be a 2nd generation Comet.

    As far as sheetmetal the wagon would use the same door as a 64-5 Falcon/Comet sedan. The hardtop and convertible door were made different around the window frame/windshield area.
