The alt i have is from a '95 mustang v6, drilled and tapped the hole..wired it correctly and went to clock it so it's fully ready to go in when my trans arrives.
i took out the back piece/brushes, took the rear of the case off..but when i did that i was not able to turn it, or pop the middle section out (looks to be 3 sections of the housing) is there a part i did not do, or something i did wrong?

If I remember correctly, it was just 3 or 4 looooonnnnngggg screws and when you took them out, it would spin pretty easily. But look around for instructions...I broke some electrical thing on my first one. I think you have to pull it out first, then spin it, or it will snap the brush connectors.

I wish I could remember what exactly it was. I think it was 3 small torx screws somewhere.

The instructions are on the net somewhere. Find them before you break it, like I did.
