My grandfather gave me a 1970 Maverick in pretty good condition. I have been searching the web trying to find out the value of the car and came upon this site. Can someone direct me to find out more about what this cars value is? Thanks

A maverick isnt a car that the owners even consider value on. Any of us that built our cars will never get the money back out of them. We build them and have them because we like them, not for an investment.

Welcome to the board! You can check sites like e-bay and craigslist to see what comparable Mavericks are selling for though that may not give you an accurate estimate of what yours is actually worth. If you plan to sell the car someone local might pay more for it than someone who has to deal with a long distance delivery of the car after the sale, etc. Also you may not get good looks on ebay or craigslist of the actual condition of those cars. (Is there rust that might be hidden from casual view but will need to be repaired, etc.) Maybe they are in better or wqorse shape than yours in spite of what the pics look like. If you can find another one for sale locally go check it out and compare what it looks like to your car and see what the seller is asking for it. That might be a better way to see what your is worth in your area.
If you plan to keep the car, then it could very well be priceless...
