Difference in C4 for I6 and V8?

    I have two (73 & 75) 250-I6 C4 trans. Can I6 C4 be used to build for a V8? The V8 guys ask for the big C4. I think they are referring to the bellhousing and don't know the 250-I6 is the same as the V8. Are I6 & V8 case are the same? All they need to do is upgrade the internal parts? I missed a sale today because I did not know.

    I have had 6 cyl trannys built up for a V-8. They added more clutches to the clutch packs.

    The 250 bell housing will fit on a 302 with the c4. It's been asked before in a couple threads I've read somewhere on here...
