    Hi guys,
Do any of you have a picture of a 72 with the hood seal in place? I just got one from AutoKrafters and it is full length out of the box from one edge of the hood to the other. But there are no clips or holes beyond the center section and there is no way to mount the ends. I think that this should be cut down, but if anyone has mounted this full length I would be curious to see how you did it. If you cut it down, I'd like to see where you cut it for the stock length. Unfortunately, my car never had one when I bought it and I am flying blind.

I glued the rest of mine to the cowl and ran it full lenght.

The correct way to mount it on a 1972 is to cut it down so it only mounts to the raised portion of the cowl.

Thanks guys. I think that I'm going to take the easy way out and just cut it down like it was originally.

Typical of a slacker. If you cut it down then why even put it on? water is still going to get in there. guess its going to come through the hood snorkels anyways. Does it really matter since it never leaves the garage? :rofl2:

You know that I'm trying for the 100 point restoration here Ryan! And it leaves the garage...it's in the way sometimes and I have to push it into the driveway to make room.

You must have pushed it outside last night and caused the storm to blow in.
