Some wise guy broke my antenna at the mall. Now I need to find a replacement. I know they have some at auto krafters but might try some thing else if I have some other choices. Has anyone installed a power antenna or some other type of antenna?

I installed the Crutchfield Ford replacement Antenna. It was the only place I could find the original antenna with a screw off mast ... Good for car covers ...

I just bought one from Wal-Mart. It was around 9 bucks, looks stock, and has a screw off mast. Got the job done, it just doesn't have a FoMoCo part number. Preston

Decided on the quick fix, went down to advanced auto parts and pick up the universal ford replacement. I think it fit better the stock one, paid $7.34. I guess that is a small enough price to pay to have a radio.

I'm glad that I know that now. I didn't know that there
was one that screwed off. I have a hole in my current
soon to be gone car cover.
Mine was replaced aroung 1989 with a dealer part when
some smart#$% bent mine at a party in college.

Thats why I dont put antennas on my cars. I either tie them up under the dash or mount them under a fender.

Anyone know of an antenna that can recieve radio/tv/CB/and wi-fi all in the same package? If not all of them... some of them? I don't want a million antennas hanging from my car :p

Mavaholic, do you mean you put a regular antenna under the dash?? Does it pick up pretty well? I am gonna get rid of mine when I do my body work. (Hopefully soon). Just wondering....Thanks, Preston

Go wtih an automatic antenna, that's what I'm going to do. Best of both worlds.

I just zip tie it under the dash. Reception is definately degraded but the local stations come in pretty strong. I would tend to listen to CD's or the sound of the car anyway. I just dont like the looks of an atenna. A piece of wire sticking up from 1 fender. I have mounted them horizontally under the front fender and works pretty good too. I guess it just depends how far away your favorite station is.

If I ever get around to putting a radio in my car I'll use an in the glass antenna.
I've used them before and they actually work fairly well. If you take your time, you won't even see it when you're done.
