You will not lose your liscence as long as you fight it. I have had 2 reckless and several speeding tickets in sovietcalifornia. Pay the lawyer the 1500-2500 to negotiate the plea and stay out of trial. You have zero chance at a trial. An officer just has to prove a willful disregard for property or persons. His opinion and testimony is enough for a jury. Get a lawyer asap and they can exploit any misconduct or paperwork errors.

 

i dont got that kinda money to drop off to a lawyer but i am going to fight it believe me it will be hard to get off of it iv talked to like 5 different cop and all of them said i was screwed but i think im going to make the cop show video of this because he wrote that i didnt pull over for a half a mile the ticket is going to cost around $600 and that money was going to find a motor

Mavericks don't go that fast and they only have half a seat belt which he can't see you had on . Your gear box required adjustment so it seemed you were wondering. A mechanic friend adjusted it for you.. Sentence reduced

 

Get a loan. Borrow money from a friend ask to make payments to the lawyer. Having done this twice it is a necessity. First time I tried to negotiate and I got reamed.

 

Some good advice in here, some but in the end its up to you what you do. I fought a 35 mile a hour over in Idaho, by seeing prosecuting attorney first. We agreed on driver safety classes, and I volunteered on my own to do 30 hours community service...which was spread out over 6 months. The fine was only $80 could of been $900 with a 2 years suspended license, and a impound fee out the wazoo.

 

ok i had this long story to tell but im going to give the info.


i was pulled over for 135 in a 60 or70 mph in GA

it was bum down to a 120 so my fine was 350 and 30 hours community service
and had to go to Driver Safety courses

do not lie to him bc you may end up pissing him off and thats not good
go saying yes sir and no sir dress respect full

you may know all this just trying to help

may help to know i was in a srt 4 not a maverick

Sorry for being the hardass of looming doom in this thread.

But reckless driving is a misdemeanor offence, and it is a big black cloud on your driving record, background checks, etc. Most places cannot differentiate dry reckless from wet reckless and throw you under the same bus. Just trying to help you out man.

 

the cop said i was going 66 in a 45 im not sire speedo is cut in too...he said i was weaving in and out of traffic= reckless driving and i was wearing my seat beat i told him i was wearing a seat belt but i still got a ticket for that and its not payable i have to go to court
