car's been sitting for 4 months, did I miss anything?

    1971 Ford Maverick 2-door
    Fluids checked, battery charged, bowls filled on the carb. Tire pressure is good. No leaks on the floor while I was gone. Took the oiled rag out of the carb that I stuffed in there to keep moisture out (no choke).

    It's a dart block will all forged internals and has sat since late November 2011.

    id probly pull the coil wire and spin it over a few times to make sure it gets oiled but other then that sounds like you got your bases covered

    I leave my race car for a couple of months at a time these days. Watch the oil pressure when you start it. Should come right up.:)

    I agree, with that, but pull the plugs and spray some oil in those cylinders first.Make a mess and be safe..

    Took a couple of cranks to get the pressure up, but it came up just fine. Thanks guys.
